Acupuncture for Asthma?

Acupuncture is very effective in treating asthma. I know because I

used to be one of the sufferers :-D, however for the result to be

permanent, we should prescribe a exercise regiment in coupling with

the acupuncture treatment. Tai Chi Chuan or Qi Gong would be the

best bet.

Thanks for your reply. I realize it had been months since your post,

but since the drugs my doctor has been trying are making me very ill,

I am looking more towards the idea of trying acupuncture for my

asthma. So for you, the acupuncture truly made your asthma much

better? Do you need to be on any medication for it or use your

inhaler. And I am hoping the acupuncture might work without taking

herbs (i have other health problems that make it difficult for me to

take anything). Will the acupuncture work on the asthma without

using herbs?

 

I am indeed going to try tai chi...I have a friend who said it helped

his asthma a lot.
