Guest guest
YOUR OPINION COUNTS - A Voice for Peace Good Day My Friend The public opinion polls claim that 92% of the citizens of the United States of America are in favor of retaliation for the devastating terrorist attacks waged against our country. DID ANYONE ASK YOU? NO ONE HAS ASKED ME. Do the public opinion polls confuse the desire for an appropriate response with the desire for retaliation? Is more violence the best response to violence? Is continued destruction a viable option for creating safety, security, or peace? As we know, the initial attacks came on our soil. Would we believe that continued terrorist actions or even war, would not be forthcoming should we choose to retaliate? Please think carefully - Please consider the reality of the consequences. If you do not support retaliatory military action THEN PLEASE- CONSIDER TAKING ACTION RIGHT NOW. WRITE NOW. Send copies to your congressmen, the President, civic leaders, spiritual leaders, the media, and anyone who needs to know your opinion. As a citizen of the United States of America I want my voice to be heard. I want no mistakes made in assuming that my vote, my choice or my support is or would be given to a decision to wage war in the form of retaliatory military action for the terrorist actions of September 11, 2001. I however do support any and all efforts to increase national security, prosecute individuals who are convicted of actively participating or planning terrorist actions, attacks or any other inhumane activity either contemplated or implemented against the United States of America. this letter can be found at http://www.geocities.com/lightonecandle2001/ Please feel free to copy and distribute as many copies as you can or forward this web address to anyone you may think is interested. MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH!
