Would you say that allergies are about the person responding things AS IF they were a threat/pathogen and therefore about being on heightened alert the whole time? To me, allergies are symbolic of fear and if the fear issue can be addressed then the person will get over the allergy.

I had an interesting discussion with a psychoanalyst yesterday about milk allergies and the fact that so many people seem to be developing allergies to milk. he sees this as being symbolic of a difficulty accepting the mother so we took the discussion a step further in talking about the changing role and perception of women (and therefore men) in society and how this was perhaps also a factor. It was a fun discussion (although very brief) and prompted me to start thinking about ways in which to address this through energy work - fledgling thoughts and I haven't reached any conclusions yet.

Good luck.> > Barb> Hi > i would like to ask if someone know "if and how" is possible to >use that techniques in a case where you dont know the "material >thing" that push your body to suffer of eyefever ..and/or asma > thank you> AlessandroNotice in the first case, Barb gives real good advice, based upon Donna's book.Notice that Alexxandro and NOT read the book and has no clue to what Barb is talking about, BUT (and this is the SAD PART), "he" THINKS he does.Remember that allergies is NOT about "material thing" that push your body to suffer...Allergies are about something totally different. What is it that is different?
