Guest guest
Many pet owners are adamant about their pets: they "know stuff" -- they have a very definite and distinct personality, they do heroic live saving things for their owners .... etc. Some have said that even their pet fish have unique and distinctive personalities. Who is to say whether the cat in Docspeed's story was a savior or just doing some cat antic to amuse himself. Certainly they can be full of devilish antics. Docspeed energy tested and got "that answer does ET very strong" on one and "very weak" on the catjust playing around. Another way to get more information would be to psychically or energetically "merge with the cat" and read its consiousness. I once visited a local psychic/channeler (I'll call her Joan) who had two cats; I asked her if she read her cats. Though she had a bustling business, for pet information she called a pet psychic. This was when she married and her new husband moved in with his cat. Joan was concerned about how the cats would adjust to each other. The pet psychic said they would be fine together, however, each cat did have its own concerns: Joan's cat was worried that the other cat would take it's favorite window spot and his cat was worried that Joan's cat would take its food. Joan told me his cat was indeed very possessive of his food bowl and always was right on hand when she gave both cats their foodIt was an interesting story. Provable? Probably not. Dr. Jerry Tennant in telling his story of his recovery from encephalitis caused by three viruses in his brain. This left him bedridden and mostly asleep for 6 - 7 years of his life. He tells the story of how during this time, his two dogs would stay with him. He believes his dogs sensed the problem: One would lay on his head (encephalitis) and one near the stomach (spleen). After his recovery his dogs no longer did that. However, the the story at this link is even more interesting. And does have some credibility weight as it was witnessed over and over by many different people ... FOXNews.com - Oscar the Cat Predicts Nursing Home Deaths - Health News | Current Health News | Medical News. One of my favorite stories from the wild animal kingdom is Christian the Lion -- apparently a lot of people liked it, it was one of the top viral videos of 2008. Perhaps that could be explained as imprinting. And I do enjoy the stories of how one species will adopt an infant of another species (a tiger mother nuturing a baby pig??--normally pigs are lion food.) Could be just the maternal flowing of oxytocin, as many stories of this nature occur when the mother has her own brood of newborns ... and research has indicated that suckling does increase the release of oxytocin. But could it be more? And how do you explain stories such as the one where an adult dog on an animal reserve adopts a grown elephant and becomes her constant companion, even holding a daily vigil for weeks outside the hospital till she is well and can return to the open areas of the animal reserve. The elephant developed more of a kinship with the dog than the other elephants on the reserve. There many such stories of inter species adoption and special friendships -- even those where the adoptee is the normal prey of the adoptor. With all the talk of consciousness expansion and spiritual evolvement happening at an increased rate as we approach 2012, I have often wondered how this energy shifting will affect the consciousness of animals. While I can get any number of surmises or predictions on the human front there does not seem to anything (that I have found) on its effect on the animal kingdom. Generally speaking, I do believe, that we (and especially so, the scientific quarter among us) do sell the animal kingdom short. g
