Guest guest
Thank you, I do try--And thanks for the references, they sound like excellent books. And thank you for the testimonial. I like hearing from people who approached TCM and other such subjects with skepticism, and became convinced--although anectdotal reports are obviously not statistically significant, I believe the paradigm the Western mind approaches statistics with is a bit flawed, pragmatically speaking. I don't think they're as infallibly authoritative as most people believe them to be. acupuncture, " Percy Giblin " <pgiblin@h...> wrote: > Lithium deuteride is the principal component of a thermonuclear device....I like that name, hats off to your creativity. > > Back to topic at hand....I had been skeptical of acupuncture's efficacy but when I dabbled with it a bit I became convinced of its potential. After reading Franklin Wayne Poley's " Contact Conditioning " I decided to give it a try. My very first attempt was to electrostimulate Li4 near the base of my left thumb. Immediately my heart went into palpitations. My second attempt, just before going to bed, I electrostimmed Pc4, 5 & 6 of both forearms. I didn't notice anything but the next morning I was so blissful. I felt I was enveloped in a protective energy field, it was very peaceful. > > Something else I've noticed about electrostim...each acupoint's sensitivity to the applied voltage increases dramatically after 5 to 7 seconds. > > I'm currently reading J.
