Guest guest
We are in the far north woods of MInnesota and we do heat with wood. But every time my husband hand selects an ill tree to cut down he takes his hat off and thanks the tree for the warmth it will be providing for our family. He said he feels the deserve that. When we buy wood from others we do a group thank you to all the trees for their allowing us to survive in the north without using more gas. I wanted to share this form of our gratitude and we ARE grateful when it is thirty below and we are warm. We both also spend a lot of time with the trees on our land and Steve takes care of any dead branches and helps keep the tress as healthy as possible. It is a wonderful symbiotic relationship.
