Guest guest Posted December 10, 2001 Report Share Posted December 10, 2001 I brought in the Crystal Empowerment Sunday morning, and as the energy flowed, ... I fell asleep. Woke with a slight headache and went out for breakfast and an hour long walk oceanside. Headache persisted. Then it was time to prepare for the peace meditation my sister in Costa Rica had arranged. Set up outdoor music in the shade, burned copal (Mayan incense) and worked with the four stones my sister selected: labradorite, pietersite, shiva lingum and strawberry quartz. It turned uncomfortably hot even in the shade. I lasted about 20 minutes before turning in. By then I felt horrible, crawled in bed for the next 4 hours. Lots of sleeping. Sick. I DON'T think the illness had anything to do with either the Empowerment or the peace meditation. I awoke today feeling " cleaned out " which I guess I personally needed. Am trying to drink lots of water to continue " cleaning " . Interesting to hear of others who slept or spent the day in bed as well. Guest guest Posted December 10, 2001 Report Share Posted December 10, 2001 I know it was not the attunements causing the sleepiness - I didn't do the Huna or Companion Angel since the 6th and didn't feel it necessary to do a repeat of the crystal attunements at all this month. Usually when receiving attunements, I get charged rather than tired. That idea of " a universal call " may be just it, Peggy. Also interesting that at least three of us had our labradorite with us. In fact, this is the third time I've done the crystal attunement with Peggy, so I am quite sure my not feeling well had nothing to do with the attunement. Instead, I think it was a message to " clean up " before I continue with more group/earth work. My diet has been horrible lately, as someone just started importing Sweetarts to Cozumel (Mexico) and I have been binging on them. Rootbeer and Dr. Pepper are also new to the island. Yum! Someday McDonald's will arrive and I will have french fries for dinner. Strange the things you miss when you live where they can't be purchased... At this point you are probably picturing a very large person. I am 5 feet tall, about 100 pounds. Since I plan to stay that way, I guess I have to limit my sugar. Very sad. I am a reiki master but did not experience such tiredness with any of the reiki attunements. The tiredness does not bother me just found it a bit extreme. I am so glad I was at home and was able to sleep though , because if i was at work i would have had to go home!!! lol as I was good for nothing else but sleep... I was called to place crystals in a circle around my meditation cushion in front of my Kuan Yin altar and hold 2 new pink quartz crystals, one in each hand. This is not the first time I have had these attunements so maybe that is why my reactions were somewhat different. I felt a warm feeling pouring over me from above, a golden color is what I saw in my mind. Then my hands tingled and colors swirled around, greens and yellows and bluish color. The strongest sensation was after these things above. I felt a power surge from below as if the Earth was contributing this attunement also. I saw more orangish light as this energy moved up my chakras to my heart chakra. The energy from above joined the Earth energy there and I felt great peace. It was a very soothing feeling and I came out of the meditation feeling very relaxed and refreshed. I haven't had a chance to work with the energy yet, so I don't know if it has been enhanced in any way. Thanks again for making them available. When I called the attunements in I had this image of a crystal temple set into the side of a hill surrounded by trees ( I'm assuming a forest of some kind) the place seemed tropical by the golden light in the sky.
