Guest guest
Funny, I just ordered it after reading Doc's post -- but not from Amazon. I've been buying a LOT of books on Half.com. I don't always find the book I'm looking for right away, but if anyone is selling the book I want there, it's also usually the lowest price (I always check B & N and Amazon, since they also deal in used books now, and Alibris too, but they almost NEVER have the lowest price). Brand new copy of Instant Healing in hardback, eleven bucks (plus Media Mail postage -- the old " Book Rate " ) -- such a deal! And while I was shopping there, Half.com helpfully suggested I might wanna pick up S. K. King's Imagineering for only 4 bucks, and -- after going off to read the excerpts on Amazon's site -- I cheerfully agreed. Sometimes you find rare stuff too. I got a hardback copy of another of Doc's mentions there, Dr. Shafica Karagulla's Through the Curtain, autographed by the author. Cheap. Mmmmm ... more books ... I don't know what shipping would cost from Half.com's sellers (probably mostly in the US) to where you are, Cris -- I notice your email address is at a French URL -- but if you can't find a book anywhere else, maybe it'll be worth it to you. If you are becoming a fan of Serge Kahili King, as I am, he also wrote Urban Shaman, Kahuna Healing as well as the two other books that you mentioned. He has audio workshops called Huna by Mail, that I think are awesome too. Paulina
Guest guest
thanks Amy, i will check it out. part of the reason I have used Amazon in the past is cos the shipping is cos they have branches throughout Europe so i can pick and choose where i order from - if they have the books!!!! the other reason being that I know them!!!! the final reason being that the french administration and tax people are a real pain about purchases made abroad (especially outside the EU)so I try to keep them to a minimum - not easy when there is so much good stuff out there!!!!! I am not the most IT literate person so perhaps don't make the most of the resources out there either. And yeah, I am in France thanks againCris - Amy Tompkins Monday, April 11, 2005 10:42 PM Re: Instant Healing by Serge Kahili King Funny, I just ordered it after reading Doc's post -- but not from Amazon.
