Thanks, Fred.

I'll keep the following brief.

I've been thinking about what you and David are doing, and about

getting a paradoxical response when tapping...

....and I've noticed that the " aspects " of Energy Psychology are very

similar to the meta-state levels of neurosemantics.

So that tapping away one issue leads to another issue, etc.

....just as asking the right question leads the client into a self-

reflexive consciousness about whatever is bothering him.

I know that in neurosemantics the goal is to reach the highest

logical level, using the communication model, accessing the highest

level from the primary pain point, and then, at that highest level

to make a DECISION, a choice, where you decide to either keep that

behavior, or to choose another behavior that you would appreciate

more.

Which in my mind seems very logical, and in my experience has worked

rather well.

My point being, using a bit of conversation and meta-talk, it might

save a lot of time to get to their executive level, which only takes

about 1-3 minutes and then tap away that highest level, and all the

levels below that fall away.

Now we are at the point of installation of new behavior...which with

Gary's model can be done with tapping, and doing an affirmation as

you tap each spot, starting at the inner-eyebrow...

Also, reaching the higher executive level first, where the highest

quality information is, and then getting agreement and a decision

that they don't want that feeling anymore, before the tapping

sequence starts seems to relieve/remove much of the various types of

psychological reversals.

Has anyone else run across these similarities and have gotten

positive results using something similar?

Just curious.
