The " how to " would be different in each situation, depending on the

energies one is trying to work with. Each person will have a

different relationship to the energies of this center and this

relationship will require a different approach to aligning this

center (or aligning oneself with the gifts of this center). However,

some general ideas follow below...

 

Carnelian - Teaches us about the scope of our creative power and also

imparts insight into how the use of our creative energy affects our

experience of reality, encourages a warming expansion of this

chakra's energies

 

Apricot Botswana Agate - Circulates pure white light through this

center in order to cleanse and more fully open this chakra, instills

a balanced innocence and joy regarding creativity, sexuality and the

expression of this in a respectful, sacred fashion, helps address

imbalances held in that chakra due to sexual abuse in a fairly gentle

fashion

 

Imperial Topaz - " Super charges " our entire spirit with the blessings

of our unique creative essence and allows our life to begin

reflecting this unique essence back to us, magnetizes magic through

co-creative energy dancing with clarified intention

 

Natural Citrine (not heat treated like most citrine readily

available) - When this stone spirit is placed between the 2nd and 3rd

chakra the energies of our will are bridged with our creative

potential so that our actions are focused in greater alignment with

our spirit and less with fear based responses or distortions around

the expression of this energy, also facilitates creative problem

solving within us

 

Rose Quartz - Though all too often limited to the heart center, rose

quartz reminds us that Love is the answer to all questions we may

have, including how to better align this center or better align

ourselves with its energies, further teaches us that honoring the

full and respectful expression of our creative and sexual selves is

an act of love to ourselves and to the Universe, reminds us to honor

the wholeness of who we are and not to limit ourselves to being

spirits, but also teaches us that we're bodies as well and that these

bodies need an equal respectful voice in our lives

 

Nebula Stone - Links our creative energy to the creative energy of

Creation, forging a co-creative equation of divine potential wherein

we're reminding of what infinite fountains of creative possibility we

are, initiates a spiraling of energies within the lower two chakras

that helps more fully ground us within our creative capacity, reduces

fear of creative expression

 

Orange Zincite - These stone spirits remind us about setting proper

boundaries as a way of maintaing and respecting our own creative

energies, showing us that by failing to maintain proper boundaries

that we may, in fact, be losing much of creative life force to things

that are not truly supportive to us or our path, redirects creative

energy to the task of setting boundaries, embraces the archetype of

the " Warrior as Healer " .

 

As for how to lay them out, that really depends so much on what your

specific intention is. I always work with color, sacred geometry,

numerology, pattern and obviously the energies of the stones when

performing layouts on people or when teaching others to do layout

work.

 

A " simple " and wonderful layout would be one where you have a small

Nebula stone in your navel flanked with two pieces of deep orange

carnelian on the left and right sides of the navel itself. You could

include two imperial topaz crystals on each side of the carnelians, a

total of four imperial topaz crystals dancing in this layout. You

could place four apricot Botswana agates in a diamond shape around

the navel itself with four pieces of rose quartz being places between

each of the apricot Bots agates. You could include a natural citrine

(not heat treated!) between the navel and solar plexus and a piece of

red jasper between the navel and base chakra. If the person is

working with boundary issues orange zincite could be integrated as

needed, ideally (at least) one on both the left and right side of the

navel itself.

 

Just a few ideas on the subject... There exists an infinite number of

ways of working with this and all of the other chakras. Please hold

this to your heart and see if any of it resonates as being useful for

you.
