I would like to ask folks what they would suggest for a woman that

just lost her hubby to suicide.

I'm sorry to hear of their loss.

 

There are a few stone spirits that come to mind.

 

* Brecciated Jasper - To hold us together during times when we could

othrewise come undone, to surround us in strength when our strength

is so low. A stone spirit who embodies and shares the medicine of

stabilization.

 

* Labradorite - Reminds us that our Loved Ones are never gone, even

when their form has changed and they have shifted from being flesh

and blood and bones to light and music and Love. Labradorite embodies

the eternal light of the Ancestors, a light that rests within all of

us in each moment.

 

* Black Obsidian - Black Obsidian helps to not only shed grief and

deep states of pain and trauma but also opens the veils between

worlds so that we can continue to meet our Ancestors even when they

have crossed. Black Obsidian is the point where the worlds of spirit

and the worlds of form meet. In that way we can begin to understand

that dying is not a loss of relationship, but rather a change in how

we meet and communicate.

 

* Dendritic Quartz (esp. Dendritic Rose Quartz) - Allows us to hold

an experience of connectedness in our hearts, holding on in a way

that honors (rather than inhibits) all involved. Dendritic Rose

Quartz allows us to recognize the presence of our Loved Ones that

have crossed the Veil, the way their energy still surrounds us in

each moment. These stone spirits bring us to small " aha! " moments

where this presence becomes clearer to us.

 

* Kunzite - The stone spirits of Kunzite help to clear our heart

center of the pain that weighs us down, elevating us into the space

of our Higher Heart where the light of the Mystery encircles us and

helps to illuminate our desire to know why, to understand, to find

clarity.

 

* Angelite - Brings us comforting Angels in times when our heart is

heavy and filled with pain. These gentle spirits lift us up and help

us to feel surrounded by support and blessed by many unseen friends

that will walk beside us in our journeys of great healing.
