Guest guest
Dear Zhou Xun, I live in a very upscale and expensive environment. Most practitioners here charge from $75.00 - 125.00 for an initial visit and $60 - 95. for followup and see people 1 time a week unless they are in very acute stages of things. Herbs depend on the method. I find that the traditional form of cooking herbs is not as popular here because most people would rather use a simpler form and also herbs manufacturer by American companies are tested for purity which is a big issue here. Most people accommodate underprivedged persons in some form from Free Clinics to sliding scale. As for insurance that's even more complicated and depends on the state and insurance company. Here in New York it is minimal but hopefully getting better. It may already be better in NYC but I do not work there. I hope this helps. If you are in China you could help me (as can any of you). I am very interested in doing an internship in China but do not know how to go about arranging to do this. This would be sometime after next Feb. I am interested in at least a couple of months or more. Does anybody know how I could/should go about doing this. I really appreciate any information. Thanks, Bobbi

Guest guest
Here in the UK I believe treatment costs (translated to US dollars) range between about $55 - $90 for initial assessment then $35 - $50 for regular acupuncture treatments. Guest guest
Hi, I'm from Brazil, here the treatment in a modern hospital is about US$ 150. per day and a consult with a good alopat medical is about US$ 70, and with an acupunturist is US$ 25. We have particular health insurrances for about US$ 100. pro person. The public heakth sistem is free but is little for the number of persons principaly in big citties. I/m from São Paulo a city with 16.000.000 people.
