I have some very basic questions but no answers. Maybe someone can

shed some light.

1) What is courage?

2) Why is the Gall Bladder connected to courage?

3) Why do source points have emotional effect on their organ in

general and Gb 40 specifically on the gb?

Thanks Lisa

Hi Judy,

Any sickness that reaches its peak can force one into

a coma. Normally when one is in a comma he is

breathless and unconscious and you can easily take him

to be dead when he is not. In this case you can only

understand when you take his pulse.

Thanks

Yes, you are right! But in Chinese medical theory that has different meaning

and that directly address the treatment. According to the reason that cause

coma, maybe caused by car accident, depends on the reason Chinese medicine

theory may think that caused by blood stagnation, belong to excess syndrome,

may you can see the breath voice is high, face is red, hands with fist; if

the pt. lost a lot of blood that belong to deficiency, you can see the breath

voice is low, pale face. The tongue and the pulse will show deferent too.

acupuncture points you may choose KI1, D26, LI4

excess + Sp10, 6, or R 12, St40; deficiency + KI3, D20, R4,6,

We teach in Chinese in China that will be more clear. I hope this can help

you understand how Chinese medicine thinks and works.

Chinese herbal medicne is same theory than acupuncture.
