Secondly, I personally don't look for 'perfect' crystals. Life and nature isn;t meant to be perfect, and I find that just because a crystal has cracks or similar, does not mean it is not exactly what you need for a given situation As Annette wrote: " i just want to ask if it is necessary to be perfect, without defect.....? it would be a hard world for you and me if the same rules applied to us...(smile)- " Like beauty, perfection is only in the eye of the beholder. >>>>>>>>>> " Elisabeth Augusta " <eaborch SV: introducing myself - Dorann I also have a container with salt where I put my stones when I feel they need to rest for awhile. They seem to like it. So if the quarts does not appear " unhealthy " to you, you can use it. Ask it if it needs a little rest, and make a comfy bed for it if it says Yes ;-)>>>>>>>>>>>>> Like us, crystals too can get overworked and stressed out!! After all, we are just all forms of energy when it comes down to it. An amethyst or quartz cluster is also an ideal place to allow other crystals to rest (a warning about using salt; salt can damage some forms, can't think exactly which offhand, but can check up for you if need be). I have a large amethyst druse, with a natural bowl in the bottom, which is often full of crystals, either being cleansed or healed. Sometimes, after a healing and rest period, I will use the crystals again, other times not, when they will just be placed somewhere safe to live their life quietly in retirement >>>>>>>>+ " Mrs JavaJunki " <CroneWynd Perfect crystals I remember it as being very clear, with just a tiny bit of a rainbow through it. Now, after some months of being busy sending Reiki (and, of being recharged by both of us on a regular basis) it is almost completely cloudy! I see a myriad of tiny little bubble-like, things, like a haze, that reflects rainbows strongly. The amount of energy we feel coming from it is amazing, too. >>>>>>>> I have had similar happen, most noticeably a blue-quartz tumblestone which I used for healing on my grampa. He was in hospital, and I had charged the tumblestone and put it in his toiletry bag. The day he came out of hospital, my husband was dropping him off at the house, when he noticed a crystal lying on the ground just after they got out the car. The tumblestone had fallen out his bag. The colour had drained from the centre of the crystal, and parts of it were clear. For a while, it rested in the amethyst, and it now is charged to send distant energy to my grampa on an ongoing basis. Every so often, particularly if he has had a bad spell, it goes back into the druse for a rest. >>>>>>>>> " leiba10 <leiba100 " <leiba100 Re: SV: introducing myself - Dorann Hi elisabeth yes as you can see you got me intrigued by the crystalhealing how and when do you know that a crystal needs to rest and what do you do with it.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> There are various ways I do so ... sometimes u can feel a change in the energy of the crystal, especially if its one u are working with regular. I also ask the Guardian of the Crystal in meditation. Or, if u use a pendulum for dowsing, you can dowse for the answer.
