Hi smadar,

 

I'm fairly new to the group also and have not posted until now. When I read

your name it sounded familiar. Upon checking I see that I won one of your

auctions recently. The 3 pink lemurian seed crystals. I can't wait to get

them. I enjoyed reading about your background. I'm just getting started.

I've only been collecting for about a year. Maybe less and I have quite a

collections. I think I maybe moving too fast. I have to slow down and try

to connect with the different stones. I can feel energy but I can't " talk "

to them. Well I can talk, they just don't answer. Or more to the point I'm

not receiving yet. I don't seem to be able to let myself go enough to get

in a meditative state. It's a control issue. Any suggestions there would

be greatly appreciated. I have used a few stones successfully in healing.

Hi,

 

My name is Smadar. I have been interested in crystals since I was a child.

Somehow I had lost my connection to them but I had never forgotten about

them. I was recently reintroduced to them and It did not take much to spark

my recollection and for me to get completely reconnected.

 

I have crystals all over my home. I have mostly been working with them

through intuition and reading books and by speaking to crystal people. I

believe so strongly that crystals are a gift from the earth and that

everyone should benefit from them. I think that so many of us, with our

wonderful modern lifestyles, have lost that connection. I think that

crystals are one way of connecting - my favorite - and I now help others to

reconnect. I began by getting them for friends and family and now I find

them for others. Mostly at this point by word of mouth and through ebay.

 

Ebay is actually how I found this group. I found a seller " twylightdreams "

who had some wonderful information on crystals and the link to this group

was there. I read some of the articles by Solar Raven - Peggy - and I was

very impressed. On ebay I am songofstones. I chose the name Song of Stones

because when I sit with my stones and I am very quiet I can feel and hear

their vibrations. This gift to feel them was given to me through a

wonderful stone friend - a Shift crystal (or also known as Growth

Interference Crystal).

 

I have only just begun opening up to these gifts that I have been receiving.

I have been in hiding for a long time. Hiding and trying to fit in and be

normal " , which I am now coming to understand as blending in to what the

majority thinks is right at the moment. I realize that I need to be true to

myself in order to feel that I truly belong.

 

I have been wanting to connect to others who share my passions and I am very

happy to have found this group. So thank you for allowing me to join your

wonderful group. I look forward to getting to know you all and to hearing

your stories on how you came to connect to our special stone friends.

 

By the way, if someone could let me know what " flaming " is, I would

appreciate it. This is the first group I have been involved with so I am

new to the rules and regs.

Hi Sheila,

 

It is nice to speak to you again. I can't wait to hear from you about

your reaction to your new crystals. I love the pink lemurians they

are very special.

 

I know what you mean about having a large collection and very

quickly. When I first rediscovered crystals, I found that I wanted

to experience as many of them as possible and as quickly as

possible. I also questioned whether I was " moving too quickly " . But

I listened to the still small voice. I trusted myself. When I was

ready to work with the stones, they were there.

 

Wow, if you have used the stones successfully in healing, I'd say

that you are already communicating with the crystals. Sometimes we

want something so much, that we don't realize that we have it

already. Sometimes our expectations prevent us from seeing that

clearly. Also, if we put pressure on ourselves to get somewhere

quickly, it may end up taking longer. I believe the key is to trust

ourselves.

 

I think what I am getting at is that if you trust yourself and listen

to that small voice within, then all will unfold as it should and in

its right time. Experience is the greatest teacher and that comes

with time. Some things can't be rushed.

 

I just thought of a good example, if you don't mind me sharing.

Let's take eating - the first time a baby tries a new food, they

don't know what to do with it. It sits in their mouth, it drips out

of their mouth, they may like it, they may not like it. Eventually,

they learn how to get it where it needs to get. As this new soul

grows and develops, they get to know that there are many different

types of foods and many ways to experience it. Some are great but

when they are mixed with other things, are then not so great. Some

are nourishing, some are healing, some are just enjoyable.

 

In the same respect, different people have different tastes. Some

want to try everything. Others are more cautious. We take it for

granted, but it takes time to develop our tastes and it is one of

those things that is constantly changing and we are constantly

learning new things. Better ways to cook our food, more nutritional

ways to eat, etc.

 

With crystals, I believe it is really the same thing. We each have

to find our own way and in our own time. I think that there are ways

to help ourselves along. I know for myself, when I do daily

meditation, I am much more open. I found it helpful to join a

meditation group. I think the most important thing is to be patient

and understanding with ourselves.

 

I just realized that I am oversharing. I'm off to work with my

crystals now. Hope to hear from you soon about yours.
