Guest guest
I know this is not an acupuncture-remedy, but I recently read about the use of Carnitine to treat persons with hyperthyroidism. Have you given this a try? (the NIH recently had a conference in DC devoted to Carnitine - i have more info if you're interested). best wishes from someone on the other side of the thyroid spectrum (hypo!), mona rena365 <SERENATAPPE wrote: I was diagnosed last year with a hyperthyroid. I have been using herbs, homeopathic remedies and acupuncture for 7 months and for the most part feel great. The only thing is my blood work still hasn't shown any improvement. I saw an endocronologist and says to give the alternative meds 3 more months and if they do not work start PTU meds. Is this a realistic goal? Alot of my symptoms I used to have do not happen anymore or only on occasion.
