I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as 6 impossible things before breakfast." From Alice in WonderlandToday's EFT Quote: "I am totally thrilled about EFT! It's a very powerful tool!" Roxey LauToday's Helpful Hint: When giving a workshop on EFT, it is essential that each member of the audience get their own personal "AHA." By that I mean each person should experience an improvement on at least one issue for themselves. That's why I usually do group tapping for (1) chocolate cravings, (2) physical discomforts and (3) a bothersome memory. Most people get results on all 3 and hardly anyone leaves without at least one impressive result.Send this newsletter to a friendFeatured ArticlesFeatured Article #1: Impressive emotional improvements with student athletes in 4 weekly EFT sessions: It is no secret that emotional states affect athletic performance. Athletes everywhere know this and the phenomenon sometimes goes by the names of "the mental part of the game", "the inner winner", and so on. Many thanks to Betsy Muller for doing a study on EFT's emotional use for 3 student athletes. She says, "All three students experienced decreases in their SA-45 scores (8-28% reduction), Beck Anxiety Inventory (10-71% decrease) and percentage of 3 minute HeartMath session in "low" coherence (32-92% reduction)." She says, She came down only to a 7 out of 10, and I was a bit surprised it hadn't gone down more. I then posed the question: "If this pain had an emotional component what would it be?" Immediately Mary replied: "I have to protect myself!" It had been 6 years since it was cut with a saw but, within one EFT session, complete mobility returned. Javier says, "When we were through, both thumbs were the same; that is to say total mobility. This is the moment I enjoy most: realizing that you are a tool capable of bringing health to others. "Although Javier doesn't say much about it, there was also some earlier relief for sciatica. Although her example centers around chemotherapy, this principles are most likely useable for numerous drugs. Please consult physicians whenever drugs are involved. Further Scleroderma follow up: Baerbel Froehlin, Cht, continues to include us in her successful EFT efforts during an otherwise tedious healing process. She explains, "I used some hypnosis with lots of EFT, also journaling and some Art Therapy. My client, because of his physical limitations, got tired easily with tapping, so hypnosis brought about quick changes in how he felt physically. Hypnosis in the form of visualizations and healing imagery are great motivators. There were some difficult moments during those intense 2 weeks." Results from our cancer clients: In May of 2004 I invited 7 cancer patients into my home to see what help EFT might provide regarding their disease. I originally expected these volunteers to represent varying degrees of cancer -- from early diagnoses to aggressive/late stages. However, all of those who actually came were, except for one, in the aggressive/late stages category. Four of them reported impressive improvements after our workshop. Clear evidence that our emotions affect our body--in this case, dramatic changes in the blood: Rebecca Marina provides us with obvious evidence that changes in our emotional states generate instant and dramatic changes in our physical bodies. As you will see, she purposely shifts from one intense emotion to another (using EFT to enhance the emotions) and then, after each emotion, a photo is taken of her blood using dark field microscopy. The photos are contained in this article for your perusal. Using EFT to avert an amputation: Dr. Patricia Carrington provides this intriguing account of "Hans" and his Holland physiotherapist, Jan Scholtes. As you will see, Hans was advised by his physician to have his leg amputated. However, after the persistent use of EFT by Jan Scholtes, most of his pains subsided and he regained substantial use of his leg. The article goes on to say, "Measurements of his circulation show definite improvement, and his surgeon, who sees him several times a year, is astonished and no longer recommends amputation." Relieving a violent allergy attack in 2 minutes: Baerbel Froehlin, ChT gives us a step-by-step account of relieving someone's severe allergy attack. Her procedure is generally applicable to many emergency situations (not just allergies) and is well worth your study.
