Guest guest
Hi Nanta, I beleive that there are the 7 major chakras, and others. I say major as these 7 correspond to our life's development from our base chakra, which is our survival chakra which develops from age 0-7 (as a baby survives to live in this world) in some cultures such as the japanese culture there are actual celebrations of life for example if a girl bably lives until 3 there is a celebration and special blessing for her, and a boy to the age of 5 and then once more a girl at 7. If they survive then it's likely that they'll live a normal healthy life. The corresponding muscial note being middle C, and the verb being " I have " Then the second chakra is the sacral having to do with enthusiasm for life. etc. You can imagine how a 7-14 year old is so full of life! the musical note being D above middle C, and the verb is " I feel " On up again to the third or solar plexus chakra, we have the development of the child from 14-21. It is the color yellow, the color of the sun energy, it is a male energy and yang energy and you can imagine how strong and vibrate and bright it is as a teenager develops and starts to make outside friends very strongly (remember how they don't want to do anything with their parents, it's the friends who count now. It's a time of personal power and social identity. The musical note is E and the verb is " I can " the 4th chakra the heart Chakra develops from 21-28 a time of life when we start falling in love and get married perhaps. it\s a time of unconditional love, harmony and frogiveness, compassion and warmth. the musical note is G and the verb is " I love " . Now we come to the 5th chakra which is the expression of all we are, from the first chakra up. all we have developed to be, and it is here that the creativity comes forth in our 'word' our 'communication'. the confidence we feel and the expression we create as we are now in the years of our life from 28-35. inspiration, confidence integrity...it's here in the 5th chakra. Musical note is F and the verb is " I speak " the 6th chakra we start to develop at age 35-42, when we start to become more spiritual to look deeper becasue we are appraoching middle age, and we begin to have other kinds of desires and thoughts. We say the color is indigo but what do you see from your third eye. It says in buddhist teaching for example that the " truth " is as deep as the infinite deep color of the indigo dye. Different cultures have different meanings for color. But personally what do you " see " ? inner vision, clairvoyance, concentration, perception, peace of mind..the musical note is " A " and the verb is " I see " . The 7th chakra located at the top of the head is violet, or some say white. I see violet, and then white above the 7th chakra..the white light before it breaks up into it's 7 rainbow colors within my being. the muscial note is B and it is vocalized as " ohm " . we are ceveloping this from ages 42-49. it's perfection, and integration, unity with the divine, understanding enlightenment, universal consciousness, etc. the verb is " I know " Now what happens...when we turn 50....we go back to re-edeveloping on another level the first chakra...and we have to survive the 2nd half of our life....etc.I too have learnt that the colors vary...and that they are observed in different auras as well. for me, I work with the 7 major colors, I feel these rainbow colors. I have learnt and if they " don't work for me " I seek another teaching to see what works for me. I think there is no right or wrong, only variations So what are the remaining chakras you say total to number 11? Are you referring to the 2 hand and 2 feet chakras? Our feet chakras open up to the energy of the earth and we can receive Mother Earth's energy through them, we ground through our feet chakras. If we use energy healing we use these hand and feet chakras as openings to allow the energy to flow to the receipient. I was also taught that there are many minor chakras like the ones in our fingertips. In Shiatsu (accupressure massage) we send healing through our elbows or knees or forearm as we press the pressure points with these appendages. My advice to you would be to use one way for a period of time and see how you go with it...and then when the time comes that you feel you want to change that approach and try another...then drop the first one and try to second one for a period of time, and see how you go with that. Sometimes we have to go through various ways to find what really workds for us in particular. But you must trust your intuition and leave your ego aside. Listen to the inner voice and be patient...your inner voice will teach you, if you remain honest. my personal opinion and truth love light and peace BarbaraWindDancer, tokyo Web Hosting - establish your business online http://webhosting.
