Just to say hello and to thank you for allowing me to join your group.. I'm new to both your group and to the internet (I've only been online for a couple of weeks...) I am studying a two year diploma in crystal healing - and am reiki attuned, anticipating my masters course in august.I have loved crystals for as long as I can remember - and have believed in their magic, since I was a little girl. I am interested in all healing practices, but hold a special love for crystals - and hope to incorporate reiki with crystals, some time next year. I am a busy working mum of three, selling crystals is my business, though this is not why I'm here... I am self employed after several miserable attempts to find career satisfaction (and -after an employment tribunal) I decided to do my own thing - and so my life was transformed... It was amazing actually, just how dramatically things progressed, even though many don't agree with the selling of crystals, I trust the fact that I am doing the right thing both for my own development, and for the many 'crystal magpies' that I have met along this path, before I learned anything about crystal healing, I called the draw of the crystals ''The Magpie Effect'' - you may have heard of this, as the saying has well got into circulation since meeting some truly wonderful people through my work. You see I believe we are all crystal magpies, drawn to the twinkly and totally magical energy, that are each, a reminder of the beauty and perfection, that mother nature has so kindly shared with us.. I'm also affectionately known as the ''baby wisher'' by those who know me well - and fertility problems and absent healings, were what drew me into the healing field 17 years ago. I am so glad to have found something that I really love doing,something that I've been looking for all of my life, I hope that you too, through your own discoveries and with lots of encouragement from our little crystal friends - have found yours... I would love to hear more about this- a long term training course like that is a great idea! I can imagine how knowledgable you'll be after putting forth so much effort! I just recently started my dream of having a rock shop- its wonderful! Sales are slow, and I still have to work my parttime job to make the ends meet, but I am finally beginning to live my dream. The customer list is growing (your 'crystal magpies'!), people are finding me, I'm working on a website and I feel such joy connecting people with the stones and crystals they need Helping others in their healing is awesome! Life is good! I highly recommend people give all that other 'stuff' up and live your dream- even if sales are slow in the beginning, it makes every day seem like a joy No use spinning your wheels doing something that isn't really what you want. The crystal kingdom is a much better place to be- you meet such wonderful people and experience such incredible miracles and feel really connected to the Earth and other people. I have worked with stones and energy manipulation for many years but am just now beginning Melody certification and Reiki attunements through two wonderful instructors near me. I dont have a shop yet - I work my butt off, lugging heavy boxes of crystals around markets and fairs, but the shop is not far away I'm sure of that, again, watch this space, enough about me, what do you do - workwise/ lifewise? Have you been a member long? What's stopping you living your dream? I am a reiki master since only a few months and I have just discovered cristals healing/work a few weeks ago. I really would like to study shamanism and all the power of the rocks and cristal by the way. Everything is very fascinating in the world of cristals! So that is why I thing that is really great to see someone realise some dreams .... It gives us courage and perseverence to reach ours! may your cristals help you to fnd the way of light! You don't need hope to realise your dreams, just the belief that you are so obviously doing the right thing. The hardest part for me, was to have the courage, to give up my job and go for it!! I'm really interested in shamanism too, I had a wonderful healing done, for bereavement. Powerful stuff, I can tell you. I run a market stall at the moment, but am hoping for a shop soon, I'm also hoping to set up a website, but watch this space, nothing is set in stone, as yet. What's it like being a reiki master? I bet it's great, I felt so proud, like I'd actually achieved something really good, when I got my first and second degree certificates. Do you teach? Reiki is such a wonderful energy to use in healing, besides my crystals(because I have loved them for so long) it is the best thing I have ever done. I can honestly say, that it changed my life! - and my healing technique... Please stay in touch, I'd love to share lots of info, and will look forward to it, it will be really interesting to see how things develope...
