Hiii!

For those who wanted to konw about the singing bowls - if you have never seen them, here is a description for you. Crystal singing bowls come in various sizes, and are made from quartz crystal which has been crushed to a powder and fused into the shape of a tubular bowl. They come in various sizes, and originally have been used as crucibles for the doping process of manufacturing silicon wafers upon which microchips are made. Apparently, somewhere along the line somebody stuck one on the side, and it made a neat tone. Bowls that had slight defects in them (ridiculously minute tolerances) that would be rejected from the electronics process, then began selling on the metaphysical market. Today there are bowls in many sizes available. The smallest one I have seen is a 4", and the largest one, a whopping 24-inch bowl(these things literally THUNDER with resounding vibration!). The one which I personally own is a heart chakra-tuned 12" bowl. When I tone it, I feel it deeply within the center of my being. It has been said that when these bowls are played, a wave of energy beyond our comprehension is released into space-time. I believe that wholeheartedly (literally :), since I often play this bowl while sitting on a giant boulder in the woods, and it has the capacity to vibrate the entire boulder. If you are interested in getting one, it would be a simple matter of doing a search. For that purpose, might I suggest AltaVista gets some excellent hits on that search phrase.

Inasmuch as the wonderful description you, Peggy, gave about the layers of the auric field - right on! It makes me chuckle a bit when people describe the aura as being an egg of clouds of color which surround the body, lest they realize that they are seeing the emotional (astral) level directly! In any case, however, with this information comes great expansion of knowledge. In the year I have spent at the Brennan School, we have delved deeply into the individual layers. Doing this allows for an intimate connection to the very mental and emotional structures of the person. Often one will 'see' blockages which transcend through the seven levels, and indeed, when one level is cleared of the energy block, the next will be primed and ready to be cleared. Also many times wounds are piled on top of one another; keep this in mind while doing your work. What may seem like the 'never-ending energy pit' of a wound, may actually be several wounds layered on top of one another. This type of wounding takes much time and great patience & gentleness to delve into. Remember to track not only your own state while in the healing, but the state of your client as well. Often times these wounds are extremely deep-seated, and even the slightest work in them may upset the client. While helping them through it, go back into the wound gently. It's also very good to be able to do work upon ourselves or with a partner in this way, as it helps us be clear and comfortable within our own being. Indeed, as the saying goes, 'Physician, heal thyself.' (is Aurician a word?)

Peace to thee always,

Ryan
