A psychic told me today that I >have a dark aura and she can remove it using candles > Just for the hell of it I went and googled 'aura cleansing'. A lot of really wacko stuff out there that only Earth Elements or Water Elements would believe. Here's one example. " The aura surrounds our physical bodies and can range up to six feet or more from the body. If you have ever had the feeling of someone standing too close to you and invading your " space " , this is actually that person's aura impinging upon your own. The aura does not have a fixed size, but expands or contracts with changes in moods, general mental condition, nervousness, physical health, and other factors. " 1. It does NOT 'surround' the body but emanates from the body, like light comes off of a filament of a light bulb (more if wanted). 2. " invading space " . It the above example it is NOT about the aura, but about the culteral and social significance of how distance is used in your culture (more if wanted). 3. And it is NEVER about their aura impinging upon your aura, but about your third chakra and how it can pick up the energy from their EMOTIONAL FIELD (more if wanted). 4. The LAST general statement was fairly accurate. What do you think group? John La Tourrette, PhD
Guest guest
Doc - When Donna tests for a "hole" or detached aura-- what is she testing for? It usually happens to fire types like me, or earth types. (this is an untested categorization on my part) And the 'hole' usually seems to be near the heart chakra, or just above it. Is it a vortex? Guest guest
Helen, in my experience a person of any element or elemental combination can develop a “holey” aura or a detached one. The hole can be anywhere at all, not simply near or just above the heart chakra. It may be that the aura is stretched very thin. Basically if it is “holey” it is not affording sufficient protection. Donna teaches several exercises that strengthen the aura. I also discuss this and offer a number of exercises for working with the aura in my book, More Than Meets the Eye: Energy, available from my website http://products.healingpoole.com along with The Little Grounding Book and one not yet listed on the website: The Be-In-Better-Balance Book, which retails for $10. The latter has lots of information about the elements, their correspondences, and important meditations for strengthening the flow and control cycles and keeping the two in balance. What I've noticed with people that do NOT know or do NOT do the darn ENERGY DRILLS daily (I'm also talking about the thinking drills and the emotional drills), is that 'toxic stuff' accumulates. And it is no more the aura's fault than it's the colon's fault that it needs to be evacuated very regularly or the body fills up with toxins. Guest guest
Thanks Judith! I've seen Donna work about 10 times now. Whenever she was working with a " gap " in the person's aura, I believe she said the aura extends out, leaving a space between the physical body and the aura. I was very near sighted as a teenager -- and refused to wear glasses for a time. I could recognize people by their energy -- people were blurry balls of energy as far as I could tell! I could recognize someone by where their energy was concentrated: some people in their head, lots of guys seemed to have most of their energy centered around their hips So I've always seen animals (human and other) as a unified energy cluster with varying densities. I don't see vortexes, though. I want to study vortexes, assemblage points much more deeply this year. Guest guest
True, and it is hard for the gunk to clear from an aura that is collapsed. Thus, the importance of the Celtic Weave exercise as part of one's daily energy routine.... I like to do the exercises in this order for this reason: Blow Out/Expelling the Venom - " get the gunk out " Celtic Weave - " move the gunk out " Zip Up - with affirmation - " zip in the cleanliness " Many blessings, Misha What I've noticed with people that do NOT know or do NOT do the darn ENERGY DRILLS daily (I'm also talking about the thinking drills and the emotional drills), is that 'toxic stuff' accumulates.
