Hi Lori,

In NLP lingo, the release technique adds a V to the strategy.

The Sedona Method, the way Hale Dwoskin teaches it, has you identify

any discomfort, and then you let it go. Prompted by self-talk. (I

know you know this, but I'll say this for the sake of others who may

be new to it.)

" Could you let it go? "

" Would you let it go? "

" When? "

And/or

" Is this feeling a wanting approval, wanting control, or wanting to

be safe? Could you let it go, would you let it go, when... "

With Larry Crane's release technique you are guided to check where

the unwanted feeling is in your body and then use specific imagery

to " let it go. "

He does the same line of questioning as The Sedona Method to reveal

and let go of the want underneath the feeling.

The notion that all our emotions can be distilled into these core

wants came from Lester Levenson. Where Lester got this material is a

whole other thread.

I recommend getting both of these courses. If your need/desire is

money, then I'd say The Release Technique will scratch where it

itches.

The Release Technique is a great help in making Silva Programming

more effective, I found, as it ferrets out any unconscious block to

having what you want.

Hope this is useful.

Sean

p.s. Speaking of money, here's a free mp3 you may enjoy...

Sean and all,

Thanks for your thoughts. The Release Technique sounds like well

worth looking into.

....and thanks Sean I'll check out the link you gave to the mp3.

Best Regards,

Lori
