Guest guest
> St. 36 Hi Mirva & Gye, Im back on line again. St 36 is 4 tsun approx only ] below the knee cap and one finger breadth out from the bone, the important point is that there is a small groove [the chineese call it a river] that runs on a slight angle almost 90 degrees from the bone. You will feel it quite easily, St 36 is quite a small point about the size of 2 pin heads, so take your time in locating this point, put the needle in the groove 1 tsun out from the edge of the bone, this is the true St 36.note that acup points are different sizes and shapes. To get the maximum effect accurate location is essential and the correct angle of needling is important depending on whether you are tonifying or sedating the point. Cheers Murray. geovani> I am not sure i can find that " river " . It is felt in the muscle, or there is also a " sign " at the bone? How wide is this " river " aprox.? -geo-
