My clients with panic attacks have had great improvement by adding whole food nutritional supplements from the human food chain. Now remember, no supplement can claim to be a "cure" for anything, however a lot can change in the body when it's getting the proper nutrition through a whole food diet and/or the addition of whole food supplements to the diet. Whole food supplements from the human food chain are different than isolated nutrients because they contain the entire family in a balanced ratio just like nature intends. And, whole food supplements from the human food chain are also worlds apart from nutrition fads that claim to be natural, but human beings have never, ever eaten them - there's lots of examples of this stuff on the market. The reason I'm going on about this is because many people who suffer from various conditions use these nutrition fads with little or no long-term difference in their health. Whole food nutrients always make a difference!

Anyway, there are several nutrients that would be very important for decreasing the severity, frequency and duration of a panic attack. All of these nutrients can be found in whole foods (preferably organic) like whole wheat, brown rice, fresh healthy fish (especially the oily type like salmon - and not farmed salmon) and lots of fruits and vegetables (the colorful ones especially). The nutrients I'm specifically speaking of, in case you'd like to go the supplement route, are essential fatty acids, omega 3 EPA and DHA, vitamin B Complex and various other vitamins and minerals. The most important of the nutrients being the omega 3 EPA and DHA. You can find out more about these by going to www.omega-3.us.

Everybody's different and everybody's results will vary. Much depends on compliance, food choices, familial support, duration of illness, specific medication and so on. However, by following the above simple guidelines, people will always beging to feel better at some level and that's what it's all about anyway. Ocassionally some people have been able to come off of their medication (of course, with their doctor's knowledge and support), while others find that by improving their diet and adding whole food supplements, it allows them to get down to the lowest dosage of medication possible - and that's always a good thing.

So, give it a try! There's nothing to lose and everything to gain. Good luck and let us know how things go for you. It's always nice to hear the "rest of the story."

Stay healthy,

Moss

Hi...

I'm new to this group.

Have studied alternative health modalites for the past 12 years.

Love it.

Also, am familiar with gov't politics and the roll they play in conventional and alternative health issues.
