WHO: SARS KILLS 50% PATIENTS OVER 65 - A PERFECT AGE-SPECIFIC WEAPON

 

Linda Moulton-Howe on Whitley Strieaber's Dreamland on 12.27.2003 reports

that World Health Organization (WHO) announced last week that the SARS death

rate is higher than originally calculated.

 

After two intense months as of May 8th the SARS cases now total world-vide

more then 7000, with 506 deaths in 23 countries. The epidemic is still most

severe in China where provinces around Beijing are reporting rapid increase

in SARS cases.

 

The global average death rate now, according to WHO, as broken down by age

groups is: 50% for patients of 65 years or older, 15% for people from 45 to

64, 6% for patients from 25 to 44, and below 1% for patients old 25 years or

younger.

For comparison, the death rate from influenza virus is about 2%.

 

Further, a Lanced medical study based on data learned past few months that,

so far, SARS corona virus samples collected from patients do not show the

mutations and are remarkably stable. This suggests something that Dr. Mark

Jack from University of Georgia told Linda earlier on, and that is that

because corona virus is so species specific he daunted that this new one has

jumped from animals to human. He said that it was more likely that the new

SARS corona virus has already been in human population in more benign form

for long time, without being detected. He has found the same situation in

animals. Then, he thinks, that it might mutated to more virulent variant

already adopted in human system to infect and spread thru human population.

 

This new Lancet study reported last week, says that stability of the SARS

corona virus so far means that successful vaccine might be developed, but it

also means that virus is not mutating to more benign form and so SARS might

persist as the first new and dangerous disease of the 21 century, Linda

reports.

From this report it is clear that SARS is not a Chinese bioweapon designed

to target enemy forces because it, practically, does not affect population

below 25 which makes bulk of any armed forces. Even commanding structure

that is made mostly of people under 44 is safe without any special measures.

 

On the other hand, stability of virus shows that it is not a natural

mutation and allows for secure vaccine for those in targeted age group that

must not become victims.

 

Stability and age specific death rate, an perfect weapon for age selective

culling of older population world-wide.
