Chlorine based cleanser, actually almost all chlorine, to clean urinals. Basic chemistry. And I think that the fellow janitoress was probably not even flushing the urinal before cleaning, not that the urinals had that much water in them to dilute the chlorine. She was actually creating her own cloud of chlorine gas. But, she thought in terms of cleaning rather than almost anything else. My dad at 75 terrifies me. He uses chlorine in the shower, chlorine bleach, right before he gets out. To kill the germs on the walls. So interested in staying free from germs but........... Nah, he won't even listen. Asthma? Preceded by any warning signs, any at all, that it is on the way? I remember one time I contracted a pneumonia while working for a school district. They had told me to paint the shelves inside an empty freezer. I did. Since everything was off, it was not ventilated, although I had the door open of course. Those fumes from the paint made me sick, stomach and head, and then caused a damage that had all the effects of pneumonia. A lady I worked with then got pneumonia from the toilet cleanser we used. It was so acidic that when contacting urine in the urinals it fumed, smoked. She got a good dose of that and got sick. Several times. I'd like to know more if you're willing to share. Relating to herpes? Wouldn't the prednisone have other dangers inherent to it other than reviving herpes? The herpes,after each outbreak, returns to reside in the nerve endings. The thought here is that it can be either killed (eliminated as I remember from way back in my hi school days, it had already been determined that viruses were not a form of life), or its replication to the point of outbreak at controlled. Compare it to outbreak of candida (another candidate for going out of control from high prednisone dosages). Candida is there all the time in one's gut. And in one's gut is where it belongs and where it was intended to be and it actually serves useful purposes there. End of comparison. Herpes does not serve a useful function at all. It is entirely foreign to the body. The prednisone actually causes the very conditions that brings out the herpes outbreak. It makes the conditions in the body just perfect for herpes. If one is even using an asthma inhaler, one gets enough prednisone to suppress immune function (that is why it is used) and risks herpes outbreak if one has ever had itin the past, as well as to risk a candida infection of one's mouth and throat which would feel much like herpes. If one uses diet and supplementary herbs to lower allergic response of the immune system and to improve the immune system, one lessens the reason to be using something like prednisone, as well as to eliminate at least the effects of herpes virus, and to possibly eliminate it from one's body altogether. I believe you can get rid of it. It is only a virus. It is not invincible. Ozone, blood electrification and a change in lifestyle/diet etc. All can give victory over this. I had herpes about 26 years ago and took steps to be healthier and haven't had it since. Also know some other people who did the same.
