Guest guest
Blanche: Thanks for asking about Chios, and my apologies for being so out of pocket with the list lately. Yes, I practice Chios. I have been attuned to Master Teacher level, but I don't have enough experience to be teaching it at that level yet. All of Steve's manuals are available for free download at his website in PDF format. If you are interested in Chios, that is where I would suggest you start. The manuals are very good. http://www.chioshealing.com Steve suggests, and I do, too, that anyone desiring to start working with Chios Energy Field Therapy begin by doing the Chios Meditation to prepare themselves before having a Level I attunement. Unlike some other attunement type energy work methods, you get the attunement *before* you take the class, so you have something to work with during the training. There is a " treatment protocol " which I've used for practice, but I think that like many other hand position protocols I've learned, it will pass by the wayside when I have enough experience to move ahead of it. Level I is not much different from many of the other myriad energy healing methods available, with and without attunement, for people to learn. Many people would be satisfied with that, but it hardly explores the scope of Chios. Level II gets into more depth with the use of focusing symbols, as does Reiki II, but the symbols are directed specifically at certain chakras and areas of the field, and are iconic (a circle, a triangle/trine, and a five pointed star; simple to remember and visualize). Your concerns at Level I and II are in conducting energy, learning how to apply it, sense the aura and chakras. At Level III you are moving into more advanced and direct work with the chakras and upper levels of the aura. There is a focus on communication of consciousness as well as transmission of energy. You work with color and light as well as energy. There is work with what is called the " radiatory method " , which is a mirroring technique that works to supply a template to the client for healing based on the healer's self healing of their field. So in Chios, when you are doing advanced work, you are really only as effective as the highest work you have done on yourself. Unlike the lower levels, or like Reiki, which works in spite of you, and though it stimulates change does not demand it, once you start doing radiatory method, you must be willing to clear out any mirrored issues your client presents with from your own system as well. You " become " the clear mirror, just as in the Chios meditation, you " become " the focus image rather than visualizing it. This is truly living your field, not living inside it like the boy bouncing around in a bubble. As you move out completely to the edges of your field and own your energy, fully experience your depth and the layers of your aura, your perceptions begin to change and some issues become irrelevant. Well, I know this is complicated. I really suggest you try reading Steve's site and the manuals, and see if there is someone near you to do a Level I attunement so you can play with this particular energy vibration. There aren't an awful lot of Masters out there yet available to do attunements and/or classes. Most of your development will be on your own. But if you already have some experience in other forms of energy work, you will profit from exploring Chios. If so, I'd like to know more about your experience. >Thanks, Blanche > _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
