Celeste--

Thanks for sharing your experience. It was beautifully expressed.

Question: Had you had many other synchronicities in your life, or do you feel

that being open to them was part of your awakening?

My husband and I have been experiencing synchronicities of varying degrees of

" Oh, wow! " for the last four or five years. We've been dreaming the same (or

quite similar--same plot or theme, people or situations) dreams several times a

month for the last six months or so.

Caroline and Mani--have you experienced anything similar as a couple? Caroline,

I'm also interested in your take on Kundalini energy - your medical training

must give you an interesting perspective.

Hi all,

Perhaps with the awakening comes the ability to sense synchronicities.

When we begin to be alert for these events we begin to notice their

occurrences on a more frequent basis.

Yes, Caro and I experience these dual synchronicities quite often. By

dual, I'm referring to the fact that we experience the moments as they

relate to ourselves *and* as they relate to events occurring outside

our own immediacy. In fact we were just talking last night about how

we seem to be so " in tune " with each other though we've only walked

this particular path a short time (3+ years.) In fact, much of how

we interact with each other is often more noticeable in those who have

been married several decades.

Richard,

Thank you for your response.

I didn't even know what synchronistic experiences were at the time of my

experience. As I look back, I may have had occasional ones but just

thought they were coincidences. My knowledge of them came from

references to Carl Jung's psychology which then led to a professional

pursuit based on his thought---a new orientation in my professional

career.. I have had some since, over the years----some very

powerful---but not to the extent that I had them at that time. I suspect

I am probably blocking things and wish I knew how to unblock them.

Dreams were also a very important phenomenon for many years. It's

interesting to hear that you and your wife are having similar dreams.

What an intimate thing to share! You are very lucky. Do you have any

experience in working with dreams? I personally like a Jungian approach

but there are many others. One book that might be helpful is, " Dreams

and Spiritual Growth " . It's very practical ---relatively simple but very

rich and rewarding.

Again, I have more questions than answers but sharing is always helpful

and rewarding.

God bless!

Dear Florie,

You sound like such an interesting couple. Do you ever do workshops?

Several of us started a C.G. Jung Assoc. of the Greater Miami Valley in

Dayton, OH and we present workshops four times a year on Jungian topics.

I have moved to the Chicago area but am still in touch with them. They

are always looking for qualified presentors. If you have any interest, I

could put you in touch with the contact person.

Good dreaming.

Hi, Celeste,

Thanks for your message. To answer your question, Rick has had a great deal of

experience working with dreams, both personally and professionally. As a

psychologist, he is often in a position where others relate their dreams to him.

We relate our dreams to each other just about every morning, and are amazed at

the similarities.

I agree, we're very lucky to have this degree of intimacy. It feels like a

confirmation that we're on the right path--and we feel blessed to be travelling

it together.

Nice to hear from another Jungian. Rick's book, Archetypal Explorations, has

been called the definitive work on Jungian Archetypes. You can probably find it

at a university library, filed under psychology or sociology.

Be well,

Florie Gray
