Guest guest
Welcome to the list, Nicky. How is it in the tropics? Quite a change from England, hey? How did you get started in usui rekei and what, exactly, is it? (Meaning how does it differ from other forms of reiki?) Guest guest
Welcome to the list, Nicky. How is it in the tropics? Quite a change from England, hey? How did you get started in usui rekei and what, exactly, is it? (Meaning how does it differ from other forms of reiki?) Love - Susette Dear Susette, thanks for welcoming me to the list. As you can imagine living in Bali is 100% different from living in Leicestershire, and we LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You asked me about how I got interested in Usui Reiki. Whilst living in Malta I was training to be a nurse and I was also interested in alternative healing. But unfortunately I never took my attunements there as it was very expensive. Then when I came to Bali I was talking about it with a friend, and she had recently been attuned and gave me the number of the master who attuned her. The rest is history. It has changed my life a lot, and my husband was attuned last month. There are different types of reiki in the respect that you are attuned to different symbols. Usui Reiki is the traditional reiki that was reintroduced into the western world from Japan by Dr Mikao Usui, hence the name. If you would like any further information, as all that I have given you is a very brief description, then please don't hesitate to contact me. Kind regards, Nicky
