Guest guest
Hi, Kristin; Thanks for asking. Everything's great! Just been a little " into myself " lately, practicing what I've learned from my Reiki master and trying to stay centered. Had the most amazing dream last night--actually two. It's been with me all day. Maybe someone can help me out on this one (got a strictly Jungian analysis from Rick, but am open to other ideas). The dream or dreams (either two different dreams, or I woke up and went back to sleep and continued) had me travelling with a large dog--a huge collie, except instead of being brown and white, its coloring was sky blue and white--its fur looked like a cloudy sky. I don't remember a lot of details, but the dog and I seemed to communicate either vocally or telepathically and were very devoted to each other. I saved it from drowning and, at one point in the dream, while travelling a long distance, I rode it like a horse when I got tired. I've rarely felt the love and companionship that I felt for and with this creature (Rick called it my Sky Dog--I really like that!). I still feel the peace, utter contentment and absolute love that was in this dream more than 12 hours later. I shared this with another friend from Bodymind offlist this morning, but don't expect to hear from her until tomorrow, as we're 16 hours apart. She's been very helpful in offering me suggestions on visualizations to find my totem. Could *it* have found *me*...or should I be more careful about having pepperoni pizza and chocolate milk before bed? Any opinions? Guest guest
Hello Florie! Boy, I like your dreams much better than mine. My dream of last night was not pleasant at all. Your Sky-dog (yes, I like this too) sounds beautiful, as does your experience, love and protection for him. I am going to think about this one for a while. Kristin (Glad to see you back!!) Guest guest
Hi Florie, Here is a way of doing very personal dream analysis I was taught... Write out the dream exactly as if you are telling someone about it...include all your fellings as well...actually just the same as you did in your email. Do this double-spaced on a sheet of paper. Then go back and draw a line through every noun and proper name. In the space below each crossed-out noun and proper name, write what that word means to you. Example: in one of my dreams a word was snake, I crossed it out and wrote what it meant to me - Fear; for Father I crossed it out and wrote Stability; for ex-husband, well never mind :-) - but you get the idea. Then re-read your dream and you will be surprised what it tells you...a meaning just for *you*. " Richard M. Guest guest
Hi Florie... In reply to ya dream... I remember reading in one of richard Bandlers early books about how he help a guy to find a meaning of his dream. He put the guy into hypnosis and then told him he would have six dreams and each one would make the meaning clearer and after the sixth dream he would know the meaning. Perhaps you could try this with Rick Cheers Ron Sheridan. - Richard M. Gray, Ph.D. and Florence Tomasulo Gray <florie Wednesday, November 15, 2000 5:55 AM Fw: Florie? > > > - > " Richard M.
