Chinese Herbs/liver

Astra Essence is a restorative Herbal Formula. It tonifies the kidney

which in oriental medicine is our aging. There are a few herbals that can

do this. One i like is Rehmannia Six and it is dirt cheap in chinatown or

in an asian herbalist's shop. When I hit exhaustion last year I called my

herbalist to ship me some. A single herb which is good is He Shou Wu also

called Fo Ti. If you go to a GNC shop you will find a formula that is to

promote hair growth in men priced at $29 - it is 100% He Shou Wu. If you go

over to the next aisle you can get fo ti - (same thing) for about $8

(marketers know how to get those guys in the pocket)

 

Hep affects the liver. This formula you are using shouldn't hurt you but

the liver should be addressed. It needs to be built up. Avaoid anything

that can cause it strain and build it with lots of good foods.

 

Paul Pitchford has a section in his book Healing with Whole foods

(excellent - I consider it close to the Bible in my work) that goes into

what to do to rebuild the liver.
