Guest guest
Hi Jaylink: Part of the disintegration of the language thanks to the immediacy of the Net... emoticons and abbreviations! Here is a page for you to look up common usage of both. Maybe you will want to print it out as a reference, eh? ;-) http://www.pb.org/emoticon.html Crow " Look for Rainbows in the Darkness " ----Original Message Follows---- " jaylink " <jaylink Re: Digest Number 394 Thu, 12 Oct 2000 19:48:35 +0100 > > Jaylink and Florie - You guys crack me up! Guest guest
hi folks, i believe the research trial was meant to be genuine. but they have embarked on the im[opossible. if a similar drug trial was undertaken with most of the regular pain relief drugs, i am sure they would sprout up similar results. for eg: have panadol, then a sugar pill & no pill. i reckon it will show similar results. bsides what about the point that have been used. it may be that the results show some changes which may be attirbutable to - 1. acupuncture points being stimulated that are not major points 2. local reaction to needling stimulating the wei chi into a response. 3. it could be aplacebo. combining all 3 will give good results which can be confusing. maybe they need to look at the data more critically & it will show itself clearly. anand --- Chinese Medicine wrote: >
