Hi Laurie,

I, too , was impressed with EFT. I've been reading a lot about EFT, BSFF

and TAT. I got that " inner push " and ordered the course, and the tapes

arrived in two days. They are great. You can learn the protocol in ten

minutes and of course learning to work with clients will take a little

longer. I've decided to go for the certification as well.

My first intro to EFT happened a year ago. I have a fear of driving to

places I'm unfamiliar with, a fear of getting lost. I received jury duty

notice and had to go to an unfamiliar city and was really, really nervous.

One of my clients is a psychotherapist and practices TFT (the therapy EFT

comes from). She did five minutes of tapping with me, and the next day I

drove into Newark - no problem. This is powerful therapy.

You mentioned you are going for certification EFT. Please tell us where you

are planning to do this.

I live in Ct.

Thanks,

Hi Phyllis,

When I said " go for the certification " - I didn't mean go to a place. This

is a home study course which consists of 11 videotapes and 4 audiotapes and

a manual. Separate from purchasing the course, you can apply for

certification and will be sent an at home test to take. You can read about

the certification at the site...

communications. How does this training interface with Reiki? Question out

to group. thank you. Sandy Mathieson, Spiritwalker

Hi Sandy,

EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques - is meridian therapy. I think generally

it is used by psychotherapists, psychologists but is also for the lay

person. From the lists I am on (meridiantherapy ,

APPLIEDEFT , and Gary Craig's own one-way list which you can

to from his site), I am noticing there are those in the mental

health fields, massage therapists and a number are Reiki practitioners.

I think the combination of EFT with Reiki will be a great working tool.

Here is where you can read all about it from the developer, Gary Craig...

http://www.emofree.com

You can also download his free manual if you are interested. I ordered the

course which is 11 videotapes and 4 audiotapes and manual. This is

something I really want to bring into my practice, but I'm going to work on

me first :^)
