Guest guest
WORLD REIKI WEEKEND Come 2001 ! India will host a World Reiki Weekend, the first of its kind to be held in the country, if not the world. Renowned Reiki masters William Lee Rand, Walter Lüebeck and Frank Arjava Petter will participate in the event slated for Delhi from January 5-7. Organized by the ICRT of India , The World Reiki Weekend will enable Indian Reiki healers and masters to share their experiences and become aware of latest developments in the field around the world. Karuna Reiki, Rainbow Reiki and Japanese Reiki will be taught and certificates signed by the three visiting masters, will be awarded to the participants. Rand, who had taught in India last year also, will be conducting Reiki levels I and II for the first time in India. The three days of the Reiki Weekend are packed with intensive activities like shadow meditation, dancing hands technique for aura healing and activating the healing properties of stones with a mantra. Petter, who discovered the grave of Reiki founder Mikao Usui in 1996, will teach Japanese Reiki techniques hitherto unknown in India that include Gassho meditation, Reiki Mawashi, Gedoku-ho (detoxification) and Tanden Chiryo (tanden treatment). For those not afraid to be unconventional, there is Walter Lüebeck's Rainbow Reiki to experiment with. This new technique that combines traditional Usui Reiki with the power of spirits, crystals, shamanism, feng shui and Druidic healing methods also enables the practitioner to experience astral travel and channeling. The Weekend will conclude with interactive sessions to discuss the future of Reiki, its scientific basis and the exchange of Reiki stories. The final event will be a panel discussion led by the three masters. ICRT of India, # 31, Sector 28, Noida; Ph: (011-8) 91 4455068; from Delhi: 91-4455068; E-mail: raj.ravinder or divine.reiki I thought I would pass this along from Ravinder, who is the contact person and a prolific coordinator of workshops in India. It sounds like a weekend full of interesting information. -- Blessings, Crow " Look for Rainbows in the Darkness " --
