Hello, I'm new to this group and I would like to ask for help with my

problem. I am an overseas student living in Sydney, Australia. I had

a relationship problem in the past that put me into a mental

depression for 3 years. I became low in self esteem and unmotivated.

Along with that depression, I can see the degradation of my health

too. I started having health problems I never had before. The fact

that I don't do any sport didn't help either

I had resolved my problem, but it seems that the effects it had on me

stayed. I am still low in self esteem, I am unmotivated and get

discouraged easily. I have a continuous nose blockage and it often

bleeds.

I was wondering whether a therapy that can heal both mentally and

physically exists. I want to have a more balanced life. Any

suggestion/tips would be very appreciated.

Hi Wirawan,

Welcome to this great list :-)

One of the healing methods that works on all aspects of a problem is Reiki.

A search will turn up many sites on the web to read about Reiki.

Another you might want to look into are the meridian therapies, Emotional

Freedom Technique is one and you can find info here:

http://www.emofree.com/

If you wish healing assistance from healer volunteers, you could also put in

a healing request at the Distant Healing Network...

Hi Wirawan,

Greetings! I had MS for over 13 years and last summer when I went to see my

neurologist he told me I didn't need to come back and to be honest I don't

feel its in my body anymore. What helped me, and my condition was totally

connected to my emotions, was seeing a specialized kinesiologist ... we

worked on my belief system and getting at issues at the cellular level. It

is very honouring and gentle work but you fly through your stuff and are

always working on both emotional and physical. I had a lot of old unresolved

issues ... which is why I got MS in the first place as I wasn't dealing with

my stuff ... this process helped me in ways that would of taken years in

therapy.

I loved it so much I became one [also have Reiki, One Brain, Brain Gym,

and am in my 2nd year of a spiritual psychotherapy program]. I really

recommend this work it so empowering ... if you want to know more I can

always give you a website ... or if you want to connect to a practitioner,

just let me know the province or state you live in and I can get you a

couple names [you can always email me off line]. There are so many

different therapies available just pick something that really resonates with

you and before you know it you will soar.

Hi Karen,

Oh, please share the website url and other info about this with the list. I

have a friend who has MS and she has tried everything for it and other

things that have come up as a result. I feel she just hasn't yet hit on the

right modality for her.

> Hi, I'm new to the group and I don't know if this will be of assistance

at all. From the wording of your post you can see your wonderful concern

and desire to help your friend. The name of a book I have used in the past

is " Essential Guide to Amino Acids " by Dr Barrie Finnin Bpharm,

PhC,PhD,FPS.

He cites the amino acids Choline Bitartrate and Threonine as having efficacy

in Multiple Sclerosis.

He gives the following references:

Blattel RA. Use of Choline in the treatment of ataxia associated with

multiple sclerosis. Can Med Assoc J 1979; 121 1568

Hauser SL, Doolittle TH, Lopez- Bresnahan M, Shahani B, Schoenfeld D, Shih

VE, et al An antispasticity effectof threonine in multiple sclerosis;

Archives of Neurology 1992; 49:923-926

I quote this book because I have personally gained benefit from using the

information for an unrelated condition. While I realise that this groups

focus is more towards bodywork and spiritual modalities, the seriousness of

the condition and perhaps the urgency? may be helped by a " pulling all

stops out " approach. This may help in the interim.

I hope this is of some benefit to you and your friend. If I can assist with

more info. etc., please let me know.

Thank you for caring. It makes the world a nicer place!

Regards,

Craig, thanks so much for the info about Dr. Bpharm's book. I will pass

this onto my friend and check it out myself.

Thanks, Caroline, as well for the info about your super smoothie drink. I

will mention this to my fibromyalgia clients.

I just love this list of sharing, caring souls!
