Guest guest
I've not heard of Reiki being directional. What I was taught is that we are simply channels that allow the Universal Energy to flow through us and to our clients, should they accept it. I've been taught, and heard from a vast number of other Master/Teachers, that the energy will go where it is needed. I see it more as " flowing " to where it is needed, suffusing those areas where it is most needed (physically, emotionally, or spiritually.) Direction is something that comes from the concept of Chakra's in that they have a directional flow of clockwise or counter-clockwise. At best, I could see the energy flowing in a manner as described by the meridians of TCM or the flows as described by Polarity Therapy. Other than that, my guess is as good as anyone's. And I suspect that is more a matter of personal " perspective " rather than actual energetic pattern flow. But then, who knows? Ah, wait a minute, the Reiki energy knows.
