Guest guest
National Reiki Day PRESS RELEASE – National Reiki Day 15th August 2000 To celebrate Dr. Usui's birthday and raise the public awareness of Reiki, the UK Reiki Federation holding a National Reiki Day on the 15th August. We are asking every Reiki practitioner to do something for their community using Reiki. This can be giving free treatments at a hospice or retirement home, or donating the money from a Reiki client or student to a local charity or group. It can be giving treatments to family members or sending Reiki at a distance to people and situations. Whatever you decide to do, it will make a difference in someone’s life and we are only asking for an hour or two of your time. So please support us and help us make National Reiki Day a joyous occasion for all, by telling every Reiki practitioner about the day. Nick Ioannou - UK Reiki Federation Secretary -- This sounds like a lovely challenge to Reiki practitioners (and other light workers) around the world. Although National Reiki Day is only scheduled in the UK right now, I think we can all do our part to make it a day of healing wherever we are!
