Guest guest
Passing this along because it seems like an excellent project for CAM Practitioners to participate in so that our communication can improve with mainstream healthcare. Thanks for reading and sharing this with others you may feel can contribute to this project. Dear Health Care Provider, Hello, we are a group of students currently studying at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. As a part of our graduation requirements, every student must complete an Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) that in some way focuses on the incorporation of society and technology. The purpose of our IQP is to investigate the current opinions regarding Integrative Medicine. We are distributing surveys to physicians, nurses, and Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) practitioners and working with Keith Dubois of the Complementary Health Center (CHC) at UMass Memorial in an effort to pave the way for an integrative medical approach that will benefit all parties. We would like to compile views and opinions that may be used to develop an informational pamphlet that would help break down communication barriers and clear up any misconceptions currently present within the medical community. Our vision is one in which physicians and CAM practitioners work together to develop a treatment plan that is best suited to a patient's specific needs. Your participation and cooperation in completing this survey is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to share this message and website address with any CAM providers you know. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Gabriel Boys Christian Grove Alissa Wilson Please visit the following website and click on the appropriate survey to complete our short questionnaire: www.wpi.edu/~gboys/UMMHC/IQP-Survey Note: We must have all surveys submitted by August 15, 2000. Thank you.
