Guest guest
I think I may have to get a copy of this book, " Why is Everyone So Cranky? " This article, from USA Today, really touches the pulse of a lot of the insane behaviors we are regularly dealing with nowadays, from going postal to road rage and sports parents. I agree with the author about feeling a lot of it is due to poor coping skills and an inflated sense of entitlement. What are your ideas about this problem, and how it affects us in the service industry and as members of society? http://www.usatoday.com/news/acovtue.htm -- Blessings, Crow " Look for Rainbows in the Darkness " --

I would place the greatest emphasis on poor coping skills. I grew up in Detroit, and have moved farther...and farther out of the city since. I now live in the *country* with a whole different, slower way of life. Everything is so fast paced in the City putting more and more stress on the individuals who live there. Most have not developed coping skills to deal with it. I would like to see more organizations offering programs to their employees to help learn to deal with the *frustrations* they may experience. I think they would be more productive employees with less sick days, as well as better members of society. But that's just my opinion Diane
