Guest guest
Hi Caroline and Everyone, Caroline/Crow, thanks so much for the great chakra posts! In light of those posts, I was discussing chakra spin with a friend, and the following is what she had to say on the subject. This is posted with her permission to share...part of her background is training with Barbara Brennan. Was wondering what others thoughts are regarding the " spin " . ******************** Depending on the intention of the healer, the spin could mean different things. What I go by is like placing a pendulum into the center of the chakra to see what the energy is doing. It can go clockwise (CW), counterclockwise (CCW), diagonal, horizontal, vertical, still, etc. All have their own meaning. Hands of Light book describes this in detail. If a healer has a different intention, I cannot comment because I don't know what the intention is. Remember that the chakra spin is governed by the thought of the individual. These centers can change at a moment's notice. Problems occur with a group of thoughts that forms a belief. Example: From abuse and ugly divorce a negative belief is formed from a group of negative thoughts. Belief-- " If I open myself up to love again, I will get hurt. " In this case, the individual must protect or shield her heart from getting hurt and she will close the chakra by holding down (horizontal) her feelings of love. This " cold " heart will also be expressed in her auric field through the electrical frequencies she sends out. Energy cannot enter that area, congestion/stagnation occurs, the immune system goes down and the individual will eventually become physically sick in that area of her body--asthma, cold, allergy, heart, lung. If she feels very safe in a given situation, her heart may open to a slight degree for that short period of time and then return to the " protected " state when she steps out of the safety zone. Rule of Thumb- Whether you are right or left handed, take your right thumb and place it into your stomach. Whatever way the fingers are pointing, that is the proper clockwise spin. Do this in both front and back of the body with right hand. You will note that the fingers seem to go the opposite way but if you think about it, you will see that the spin in front of the person's body (as you are looking at a body in front of you) and the spin in the back are both clockwise. Clockwise and Counterclockwise Think of a fan pulling in or taking out. When clockwise, the chakra is open and is taking in energy. When CCW-the chakra is pulling out energy from the body. Any time a chakra is counterclockwise, there is a distortion in thought. Ex.-chakra 4B-shoulder blades:(How you get what you want): " I have to do whatever it takes, even barreling everyone down in my path to get what I want. " Very distorted. Even if it is positive, distorted thought energy is coming out. CCW can be positive or negative. Positive if you are releasing an issue effortlessly. That is the way the body pulls the energy out of the itself. Negative if you don't want to deal with anything. The body listens and releases energy so you are too tired to do anything. (especially when you come home from a full day's work). Negative if you are projecting your negative thoughts onto another. Positive and negative when a woman has her period. Positive because it is pulling out negative energy naturally. Negative because her thoughts are so distorted and this causes PMS. Ideally, all chakras (front and back) should spin CW, bringing energy into the body. Different chakras could spin in different directions. For example, the front chakras may be horizontal (holding down emotions) while the individual back chakras could be CW, CCW, and horizontal at the same reading depending on the person's thoughts in each of those psychological areas of the body. Open and Closed Chakras Think of a chakra as a dimmer switch. If you turn it clockwise, you will brighten the area to various degrees. (OPEN chakra to let light/energy in) If you turn it CCW- you will dim the area to various degrees until totally dark.(CLOSED chakra to keep light/energy out) No chakra is ever totally closed but for all intents and purposes, it can be almost nil in taking in the energy and is considered closed. If absolutely no energy was going into that chakra, the organ or body part associated with it would be dead. There is always a little something moving. I have never heard of a good closed chakra doing maintenance. How can it do maintenance work if there is no movement? The energy in that area becomes stagnant and congested if the area is closed to life energy. I'm always open to new thoughts if you have any further information on this. Energy comes out in many ways. Physical elimination process, urinary, lymphs, chakras (CCW), feet, hands, head (wherever there are meridans touching the outside of the body), etc. Chakras Chakras magnetically pull in energy into the body through various whirling vortices within the chakra. Simultaneously, the chakras electrically push out energy frequencies (governed by thoughts) from around the perimeter of the chakra. The combination of the over 700 chakras of various sizes throughout the body, forms the electromagnetic field, aura or auric field. ******************** -- Janie Walk softly, Live gently ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Usui Reiki and Seichem Classes In person - New Jersey
