Guest guest
Hi Debbie and Everyone, I guess the first thing is a short intro...I've recently joined the list. I'm Janie, live in NJ, and I'm a massage therapist, Reiki Master, SKHM Master, and like so many of you, do lots of other things, too. I've been going to a Network Chiropractor for maybe seven years. In the early days, you could walk into the room, see five people on the tables (all in one room) and some would be crying, some laughing and maybe even some screaming. There was a lot of emotional releasing with the work. My personal experiences were being in a state of bliss, crying from pure absolute joy, sitting in the lap of God, kundalini rising, meeting my guides...you name it :-) It has been a tremendous healing path. Over the years, my own experiences have changed greatly as well. It used to be, with one gentle contact, I would go " out there " and have all these fantastic experiences, but now it seems that rather than " going out " , I bring it in and integrate the joy and bliss within me. The healing is the same, it's just not as " showy " as it used to be. Well, every once in a while, my chiropractor lets me go back to the old days, makes a contact and lets me space out :-) Treatment was usually very gentle contact at/on (?) the meninges. Making noise and movement was encouraged...whatever would facilitate the release. The method of treatment has changed over the years as Donald Epstein has toned down the " woo-woo " aspects and brought network back more to the mainstream. Donald Epstein, who is the founder, changed the name from Network Chiropractic to Network Spinal Analysis. Donald M. Epstein wrote " The 12 Stages of Healing " , ISBN 1-878424-08-4, which outlined the stages one goes through on the path to wholeness. Good book, even if one is not interested in chiropractic. There are physical exercises and declaration/affirmations to work through each of the stages. The twelve stages of healing are: One: Suffering Two: Polarities and Rhythms Three: Stuck in a Perspective Four: Reclaiming our Power Five: Merging with the Illusion Six: Preparation for Resolution Seven: Resolution Eight: Emptiness in Connectedness Nine: Light Behind the Form Ten: Ascent Eleven: Descent Twelve: Community Here are a couple of sites I found on the web that describe network as it is practiced today... http://www.dubnerchiropractic.com/Network_Chiropractic/network_chiropractic.html http://www.ithacanetworkchiro.com/whatisnsa.html DBurke222 wrote: > but I do not know specifically about network chiropractic. -- Janie Walk softly, Live gently ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Usui Reiki and Seichem Classes In person - New Jersey

Guest guest
Jane: Thanks for the info about Network Chiro ... I have limited experience with it and that has been quite a while ago. I understand that there is very little, if any, touch or force involved in this kind of adjustment, and that it affects the " group " ? Welcome to ! Guest guest
Hi Caroline, You're right, the touch is very gentle, generally a one finger contact on a point. Adjustments are done when they are needed, too. When the work is in a group setting, when one person starts releasing, it affects the rest of the group in whatever way that is appropriate for them. The energy in the room could get very charged. The group dynamic is very powerful.
