Similar situation for me, but it doesn't look as varied because most of it is in

the

nursing field (Holistic Health, Neurology, Med/Surg, Rural, etc). So I prefer

to think of

it as being flexible enough to allow the Universe/Spirit to lead me to the next

" assignment " (where I'm needed next).

I never actually thought about what I wanted to be when I was young. The first

time I can

remember actually wanting to do something was be an accountant in 8th grade

(because I was

good at math). I couldn't imagine me doing that now (can't even do the

checkbook without

the calculator..hehe). But I still haven't figured out what I want to be when I

grow up!

Everytime I think about it, I feel like a kid in the candy store....oohh that

looks like

fun....wow, I wonder what doing that job is like...etc.

Hi All:

I've been following this thread of " what I want to be when I grow

up " with keen interest. Deborah Cox wrote, " But I still haven't figured out

what I want to be when I grow up! Everytime I think about it, I feel like a

kid in the candy store....oohh that looks like fun....wow, I wonder what

doing that job is like...etc. "

It seems to me that exploring a world full of possibilities can make

the heart glad, and committing to a particular profession is so . . .

limiting.
