The irony is, that most of the grousy folks are newbies, like you are.

We have a large lurker population on . I would love to see more

questions being asked, because we have a lot of quiet experts, as well.

 

You're right; most list squabbling (on any list) is a lot like kids

battling over the last brownie ;-)

PS: I visited the onelist moderator's chatroom last evening and

observed/participated to see how it rolls along. With a moderate number

of folks it can be a lot of fun... if you are Java enabled

(unfortunately I think this leaves out WebTV members for the time being)
