Guest guest
I recently heard from a friend of mine who has been living in Germany. Her doctor thinks she has Sjörgen's Syndrome. She wrote, " it's connected to arthritis. I have all the symptoms: dry eyes, dry mouth, difficulty in swallowing, inexplicable rashes, photosensitivity, have developed an allergy to penicillin, deteriorating teeth, occasional swollen lymph glands, IBS, blah blah blah... YUK! I saw my doctor today and we did blood tests to check on the rheuma but we both agree that I probably have this weird syndrome which is an autoimmune disorder and a mild form of lupus. " Does anyone know of alternative treatments to this. Off the top of my head, I though supplementing with Essential Fatty Acids and MSM would help but that is just my gut feeling. Anybody??? Also what would the energy of a person with this disorder look like? Anybody from an energy medicine perspective? Thanks, MichelleH Talk to your friends online with Messenger. http://im. In her early book written with Dr. Norman Shealy, Caroline Myss makes the following energy analysis of a client with lupus: " Lupus originates in continual and intense feelings of self-hate and disappointment in oneself. Specifically, these negative feelings toward oneself emerge out of an inability to challenge one's own weaknesses, specifically weaknesses that relate to major life patterns, such as being controlled by the expectations of a parent or never being able to take a risk and follow one's dreams. One lives in a continual cycle of repeating the same frustrating situations because these patterns of artificial boundaries or limitations exert more control over a person than his or her capacity to break through them. " This is more of an " emotional " energy pattern description, but may give some clues as to where you might expect to find the subtle energy blocks. Perhaps working to clear the third and fourth chakras would be helpful? Carolyn, any ideas here??? Jen
