This makes a more neutral context, similar to the psychological concept of broad focus/ narrow focus. We are all capable of both styles of organizing reality. * " engulfing " is Starhawk's term. I don't remember who coined the broad/narrow terms, which I think were meant as an adddition to the Myers-Briggs work.
