I am NO expert at this point, but in accupressure we studied both a yin release and a yang release, and there are foods and activities that can promote one over the other to regain balance. I also think that stimulating the jin shin jitsu points stimulates the areas where the body generates energy, and perhaps that could help balance them as well.
