You're being paged ;-) Thanks, Caro Oops. Somehow I missed this. Trauma Touch Therapy is taught through the Colorado School of Healing Arts. They have no web presence, but are easily reached through their number (800) 233-7114. Say hello to Chris Smith for me. (Annie in PA)It is a 100 hour program that is done with a 50 hour intensive training onsite (can be there in Colorado or sometimes they take the show on the road. I took it originally in Evergreen, Colorado, was Assistant Instructor once on St. John, Virgin Islands and once in Winter Park, Colorado) and a 50 hour externship. 30 hours of the externship are client time, the other 20 are supervision time with a supervisor you find back home for yourself. It is a pretty good program. The required reading for the course is Trauma and Recovery by Judith Herman, MD. I recommend reading the book even if you don't take the training, if you have any interest at all in working with survivors. Crow's answer was: >We have a member, Anukki, who is certified in this therapy, but so far >we haven't heard from her here or on Body_Work regarding Trauma Touch. >She may be out of pocket for the holidays... >Perhaps we can repost the request after the snow settles ;-) So, I'm reposting. Anukki, are you out there? Anyone else certified in this therapy? Thanks for you help. Bea Lutterbeck, RN, CMT mizbea >> Anukki Laughing helps.
