Guest guest
Dear Nina, Glad to hear you remembered Dr. Myss's story of " The Peace Pilgrim " incidence. However, remember the " Host " of energy that she " Shot " from her 2nd Chakra to his as well, That is the important part. Nina is right. It's not folderol here everyone, It's all ENERGY. That's the whole point. Shirley Maclaine tells of a paradigm shift she created while having her purse " stolen " off her on a New York " Street (Going Within, 1987), She realised she has one moment to either become the " VICTIM or the VICTOR " ..... Guess who won? Namaste', JimmiRae

Try a symptomatic approach like GB34 bilaterally, could also need to visit a good chiropractor. This is not a good way to treat you need to take a good case history and a knowledge of the 8 conditions would be very useful to diagnose your friend. Good luck, by the way how did you get on with St 36? Guest guest
geovani+AD4- A friend of mine has the following cronic simtoms: Pain in the left wrist, left hip joint, left shoulder, left knee (+ACEAIQ-) Sometimes headakes, exclusively on the right side, above the right eyebrow. I remember vagely about points that deal with the right/left equilibrium - not sure which though. I am aware that a deeper avaliation should be done to any case, but the particular distribuition of this persons pains cought my curiosity. Any ideias, some possibilities, concerning such one sided case? thanks Re your case Geovani, without a full case history. Good luck, by the way how did you get on with St 36? Murray. geovani+AD4- Thanks Murray. I am perfectly aware that I am not +ACI-looking+ACI- into this case in profundity. I am not going to treat this person - only maybe, try some massage. But still, I somehow remember the mention of points that have do do with right/left equilibrium - I'll look it up. In homeopathy we cal some peculiar simptoms as +ACI-little big simptoms+ACI- - for they lead rapidly and with certainty to the right remedy. I was just wondering if this unilateral manifestation would not be such a case (by analogy). Thanks for mentioning VB34 - seems such an important point+ACEAIQAhACEAIQ- Funny how these points around the knees are meaningfull. BTW, if one presses these points around the knees, one feels a very +ACI-deep+ACI- sensation in the body. Probably this is why they are the +ACI-sea points+ACI- - where qi dives deeply in the organism. About St-36. I am glad that I took notice of this important point+ACE- I have tried several approuches to localise it exactly, but have not found the +ACI-river+ACI- - yet :+AF4-) Not given up though. St-36 seems to be localized in a region that is found close to where the Tibia turns outward, but someone mentioned that it is not larger then 3mm in diameter (is that correct - twice a pinhead?), then one must be extra-carefull in finding it. I tried to run my fingers up and down with the tip touching the Tibia looking for the +ACI-river+ACI- - had no success so far.

If, as you say, you have felt a deep sensation in the body when you pressed on the point.... then you found it correctly!! I think that you are making it harder on yourself. Stomach 36 is pretty easy to find. It is not some secret mysterious point. Give yourself some credit. As you gain more experience in acupuncture, you may one day discover that you can locate points in a more precise way, but for now, you are doing great.
