Living is the best revenge. To clear up the confusion (ha!), I meant to highlight the paradox of desiring revenge and simultaneously releasing that desire. The sayings 'revenge is a dish best eaten cold' and others like that imply an awareness of the normal human reactions of anger towards those we perceive as inflicting pain on us. We can't truly forgive until we first acccept that we are hurt. Waiting for the situation to 'cool off' allows a more generous perspective to emerge. Of course that can be a long wait, so we have developed technologies for speeding the process up such as therapy and meditiation. " Waiting is.
