Guest guest
Now, I am not an astrologer, but it is my understanding that if you are born on a cusp, that means you could have characteristics of " both " signs, not " neither " :-) Kind of like a double ice cream scoop! So you are a Cancer/Leo cusp, being born on the first day the sun was in Leo. My grandfather was a Libra/Scorpio cusp, being born October 23. Is there somebody out there who does astrology who can explain the implications of cusps a little better? I know that the straight signs are very simplistic when you consider a full chart and where all the planets are, but it's pretty remarkable to me how most people are a lot like their " sun sign " . regina wrote: > > " regina " <ziggy > > Isis, Crow... > Hi, I'm new to this list, the name's Regina. The 'cusp' is the time it takes for a body to move from one sign to the other; for the sun it's ten minutes tops. The problem is that the time it happens shifts every year, which is why different newspapers and magazines give different start and end times for the signs. 'Cusp' is used in general and newspaper readings for the period of three days in which the true cusp can fall. It's rare to find someone born bang on the cusp Regina; you'd be my first. The significance of the cusp is debateable, and probably outweighed by the position of the inner planets; Mercury and Venus closely follow the Sun (8 and 12 degrees max seperation respectively) and whether they're in Cancer or Leo would have a profound (and profoundly different) effect on the personality. If you believe in Astrology Hope that's of some use. __ Ged firstborn Libran son of the firstborn Libran son of the firstborn Libran son of the firstborn Libran son of the firstborn Libran son of the don't know; the records only go back to 1847
